IT specification

Whitelisting for firewalls in company networks or VPNs

1:1 Video Chat from 123.chat is based on WebRTC and can be used with any current and current browser without software installation, whereby the Google Chrome browser is preferred for easy handling.
Some functions of 123.chat may be disabled or suffer lower performance if your network administrator (IT department) blocks video and audio services in browsers.

Most commonly, the issues are solved by turning off your VPN or go to a guest WiFi, if available.

If you’re unable to turn off your VPN, your network administrator will have to add 123.chat to your accepted use list, commonly referred to as ‘whitelisting’. It’s an easy setup; all the information they’ll need to do this is found here:.

If you have any questions, we will be happy to assist you by email at support@123.chat or by phone at: +49 30 2191 8008 - or come to our support video chat (bottom right).
